Advice-Only Financial Planner
My mission is to ensure that consumers of financial services receive advice that is truly objective, educational, customized, and presented in understandable terms. I will continue to make this possible in two ways: directly, by offering advice, education and coaching as an independent Advice-Only financial planner and indirectly, by guiding the next generation of financial planners as a part-time professor in the financial services program at Algonquin College in Ottawa.
With over 40 years in the financial services industry Ross has earned a reputation for having excellent financial planning and communication skills, having counseled thousands of clients in an advisory or coaching capacity.
Ross graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 1981 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and holds the Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Financial Planner, Registered Financial Planner, and Chartered Investment Manager designations. Over the years, national media such as the Globe & Mail and Canadian MoneySaver have regularly quoted Ross as a personal financial planning expert. Ross is also a former member of the FP Canada Standards Panel contributing his experience and knowledge to further the profession of financial planning in Canada.
